Manchester City produced a stunning performance to thrash Real Madrid 4-0 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.
The result sees City progress to the semi-finals with a 5-1 aggregate victory, and they will now face either Bayern Munich or Villarreal in the next round.
City were dominant from the start of the match, and they took the lead in the 11th minute through Riyad Mahrez.
They doubled their advantage in the 28th minute through Phil Foden, and Ferran Torres added a third goal just before half-time.
Real Madrid had a chance to get back into the game in the second half, but Karim Benzema missed a penalty.
City then put the game out of reach in the 74th minute, when Bernardo Silva added a fourth goal.
Real Madrid were simply outplayed by City, who were far too strong and organized for the Spanish champions.
The win is a major boost for City's hopes of winning their first Champions League title.
